Our world population nowadays keep rising which lead to a mass number of people but lack opportunity for a job. Due to this issue, thousands of graduated students are still unemployed. So, working in a restaurant is one of the best way that these people can do while waiting for their job. I want to write about this topic for today's entry because I know that semester holiday is almost near right now. So, i'm sure that a lot of you want to do a part time job to fill the long holiday. By doing this part time job, you all can take advantage while working hard to get money, you also gains a lot of experiences.
So here, I want to give you some tips that will help all of you a lot especially when you are working in a restaurant as a part time worker and also to make sure that you can survive while working in a pleasant way.
1. COMMUNICATION SKILL
- COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER WORKERS -
- Communicate with other workers to make sure that you are running the restaurant in a fluid and efficient way. For example is when you want to deliver the menu that customer ordered to the chef, make sure you repeat the order first to avoid any mistake.
- APPROACH ALL CUSTOMERS WITH KINDNESS
- Approach all customers with kindness and positive energy. For example, when they walk into the restaurant, greet them by smiling at them. Maintain a positive attitude regardless of what is going on around you.

- Read the menu and study on any terms or dishes that you are not familiar with. By knowing the details of the products, you can explain how the food is like since they are many people who suffered food allergies.
- This shows especially to the workers and customers that you are a professional person who can adapt to any situation and take serious your job.
